Having evolved from its original seven member nations to more than 50 federations, IFP is now the hub for a thriving world poker community.
WBF - World Bridge Federation
The World Bridge Federation (WBF) was formed in August 1958 by delegates from Europe, USA and South America. It is incorporated under the laws of Switzerland as a ‘non-profit‘ organization; its headquarters being at Maison du Sport International, in Lausanne. A new set of By-laws was adopted in August 2000. The WBF has shown strong and steady growth and its membership now comprises 130 National Bridge Organizations (NBOs) with about 700,000 affiliated members who participate actively in competitive bridge events - locally, nationally and internationally.
FIDE - World Chess Federation
The Fédération Internationale des Échecs or World Chess Federation is an international organization that connects the various national chess federations around the world and acts as the governing body of international chess competition. It is usually referred to as FIDE (/ˈfiːdeɪ/, FEE-day), its French acronym.
WCF - World Cribbage Federation
The World Cribbage Federation was founded on August 15, 2012 with the hosting of the First annual Wolf Cribbage Invitational. (Won by Scott Wall). After the tournament a ranking system for wins, losses, and skunks was put in place and the WCF was born.
