Tutankhamun was an Egyptian Pharaoh of the 18th dynasty (approx. 1341 BC – 1323 BC) also known as the “New Kingdom”. His name means “living image of Amun” although his original name is Tutankhaten meaning “Living image of Aten”.
In 1922 Howard Carter and George Herbert discovered Tutankhamum's tomb, it was in a really good condition and nearly intact. That is when there was a worldwide media coverage and the interest on ancient Egypt revived. Some artifacts from Tutankhamun's tomb have been exhibits in different museums around the world and there were even DNA tests in 2/2010 that confirmed that he was the son of Akhenaten and his sister / wife that refer to “The Younger Lady” mummy.
Before Tutankhamum took the reign name and been ascended to the throne at the age of nine / ten, he was known as “Tutankhaten”. As a king he married his half sister Ankesenepatan.
As it is a metallic puzzle the colors are bright with a hue of gold and brown. The puzzle can be a great addition to any room in the house.
